About

We make human movement measurable — for everyone

Biomechanics has lived in the lab: expensive, slow, and far from where movement actually happens. AiKYNETIX turns any camera into objective, validated movement analysis — in under 60 seconds.

In market

Three and a half years in the field — not the lab

AiKYNETIX isn't a research demo. We've been in market for three and a half years with paying coaches and clinics — refining the analysis on real athletes, real patients, and real workspaces.

Today that's 300+ validated metrics across 18 activities, with a full analysis from a single clip in under 60 seconds — body-aware numbers, validated against force plates in university labs.

How AiKYNETIX sees movement

One video in; a full-body skeleton, body-aware biomechanics, and a scored, board-ready PDF report out — no wearables, no force plates, no markers. Face blur and data protection are built in.

  • AI pose estimation

A single camera becomes a full-body skeleton — a lightweight model (MediaPipe) on CPU, heavyweight vision-transformer (ViT) models on GPU for the activities that demand them. We read movement from the side, front, or back.

  • Biomechanics engine

Joint angles, trajectories, timing, symmetry, and ground contact — scaled to each person's body (height, sex), so the numbers are body-aware, not a generic pose score.

  • Validated science

Running gait is validated against dual force plates at the University of Houston, with a marker-based reference — the lab standard, from a camera. More activities are in validation with Texas A&M and other labs.

What we measure

300+ validated metrics across 18 activities

Running, jumping, agility, gait, squats, ergonomics and more — each activity with its own body-aware metric set, not a one-size-fits-all score.

  • Joint angles

Per-joint kinematics through the movement — flexion, extension, range.

  • Trajectories

The path of the body and its segments — bar, hip, and foot paths over time.

  • Symmetry

Left/right balance and limb-symmetry indices for screening and return-to-play.

  • Ground contact & timing

Contact and flight time, cadence, and the timing that drives performance.

Our story

Two founders, one runner's problem

Co-founders Denis Akhiyarov and Anton Galvas met in 2013 and spent years building AI together. In 2020, preparing for the Boston Marathon, Denis ran into the limits of wearable tech for improving running form and preventing injury.

They combined their expertise into one idea: assess full-body movement from a single camera — computer vision, biomechanics, and AI in one pipeline — and put it in the hands of the people who coach, treat, and train.

That idea became AiKYNETIX. The mission hasn't changed: make objective movement assessment available to everyone, not just the labs that could afford it.
